But some developer at XDA Developer Forum has been made Stock ROM Android 6.0 Marshmallow available online. Here are some flashable zip files that will take your LG G4 H815 variant to Android 6.0 Marshmallow without the complicated step to flashing the KDZ file. The listed files are from software version 20A that comes with the official KDZ firmware and includes the system (stock ROM), boot, modem and bootloader zips.

Guide To Install Stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow 20A On LG G4 H815.

  1. TWRP recovery must be installed on your LG G4 devices. For detailed TWRP installation instructions using fastboot, see this guide.
  2. After downloading Android Marshmallow 20A stock ROM in to your computer, then connect LG G4 to the computer.
  3. Place the Android Marshmallow 20A stock ROM into the phone's storage memory, and you must palce .zip file in the storage root folder, not in any other folder.
  4. Now reboot into Custom Recovery (like TWRP). To boot into TWRP,
    • First turn off your LG G4 device
    • Then press and hold volume down and power keys at the same time.
    • If you see the TWRP logo, that means you have successfully booted into the recovery.
  5. Once your LG G4 entering the TWRP settings menu, clear phone's memory (full) by selecting 'Wipe' option. Once done, select – 'Swipe to Factory Reset' perform factory reset.
  6. Now go back to the TWRP main menu or home screen and tap on the install option. 
  7. Navigate to the ROM files. 
  8. Now select modem 
  9. On the next screen tap Add More Zips and select system, repacked boot and bootloader in their respective order.
  10. Swipe the confirmation button to proceed with the installation. The ROM will be installed.
  11. Flashing of the custom ROM begins and after few minutes, a message 'Successful' appears on the screen, thus completing installation.
  12. Now, reboot to system.
  13. If you see the new boot logo, that means you have successfully installed the ROM on your LG G4 device.
  14. If you come across any boot loop or face system errors, try a factory reset from the recovery or you can always restore your previous ROM from the backup.
