How to install N9005XXUGBOH8 Android 5.0 LOLLIPOP on GALAXY Note 3 LTE SM-N9005 [Full Guide]
If you want to install the latest firmware on your Samsung device, you must know that there are several ways to do that, so you can follow this installation guide that will help you installing your firmware update .
You can install N9005XXUGBOH8 Android 5.0 LOLLIPOP on your GALAXY Note 3 LTE SM-N9005 by following one of the following methods .

The Official methods (Recommended) :
(1) Using Samsung kies to check for firmware update and installing it :
- Run Kies on your computer and be sure your Computer is connecting to the Internet.
- Connect your Samsung GALAXY Note 3 LTE to the USB port in your Computer via USB data transfer cable.
-Wait for your device to appear on the upper left side of the window.
- Click on the device name (i.e. SM-N9005).
- A new window will appear on the right side of Kies.
- Under the “Firmware Information” tab, see if there are any updates available. If there are, you should see the message ‘New Firmware is available‘.
- If you want to install this update, press the ‘Firmware upgrade‘ button.
- A new window will appear. The process contains more phases :(‘Download’ > ‘Upgrade’ > ‘Complete’).
- At the end of the installation process your device will reboot. Now you can disconnect the cable from the Computer and your phone .
- Click OK .
- You can verify if you have the latest firmware by going to Settings > More > About phone on your device and you will see another firmware version name and number .
(2) OTA (Over The Air) : You can do that by following this steps and before that make sure your device is connected to WiFi network - go to Settings > More > About Phone > Software Updates and click on ‘Check for updates‘.
The Manual Method :
With this method we will install firmware update with Odin, so if you want to install N9005XXUGBOH8 Android 5.0 LOLLIPOP on GALAXY Note 3 LTE SM-N9005 with Odin follow the following steps :
(1) Download : N9005XXUGBOH8_N9005OJVGBOH1_LEB

(2) Extract the N9005XXUGBOH8_N9005OJVGBOH1_LEB.ZIP file to any place in your Computer.
(3) Download Odin 3.10.7 from : Download Desktop Odin for Windows [All Versions].
(4) Extract the Odin ZIP file to any place in your computer.
(5) Download and install you Samsung USB drivers . If you already installed Samsung Kies then you already have the USB drivers , If not go to this page and download the latest USB driver for your Samsung device.
(6) Go to Developer Options in you Samsung device Settings and Activate USB Debugging Mode.
Note: Developer Options is hidden by default, so if you can't see the Developer Options in your device settings ,go to Settings > More > About Phone > Press 7 times on Build Number to make Developer Options Visible to you . Now you can enable USB Debugging Mode in Developer Options .

(7) Turn off your phone and now you have to enter Download Mode .
To enter Download Mode press and hold : " Power + Volume Down + Home Button " , all at the same time and when you see the warning message release the buttons and press Volume Up button to confirm that you want to enter Download Mode.
(8) Start Odin from your Computer ( You Need To Run Odin As Administrator ) .
(9) Connect your Samsung device via USB data transfer cable .
(10) You will see in Odin a section called ID:COM (on the left upper side of the window). The blank space under it will turn blue if your device is recognized. (If the phone is not recognized make sure you have installed the USB Drivers) .
(11) Check "AP / PDA" box and click on "AP / PDA" and add the N9005XXUGBOH8_N9005OJVGBOH1_LEB.tar.md5 file from the N9005XXUGBOH8_N9005OJVGBOH1_LEB.ZIP extracted folder.
(12) Important !!! Do not place anything under the PIT section and make sure that “Re-partition” is not checked. (On the left side you will see Re-partition under the Option tab or on PIT tab for new versions of Odin).
(13) Make sure that you only checked this options on Odin (Auto Reboot , F. Reset Time ) , See the image below .
(14) When the N9005XXUGBOH8_N9005OJVGBOH1_LEB.tar.md5 file is loaded you can press Start to begin the firmware installation process .
(15) Don’t move or touch the USB Cable while the firmware is being flashed.
(16) Finally you will see a message saying ‘PASS” on a green background as the shown in the below image. This means that the firmware update is successfully installed. Your device should reboot now and run on the new firmware.
(17) If your device stuck in bootloop, go into Recovery Mode by pressing and hold ( Volume Up + Home + Power ) buttons all at the same time and choose " Wipe Cache Partition" and then choose " Wipe data/factory reset " and select " Yes delete all user data " then choose " Reboot system now " .
(18) If you faced a problem and can't flash this firmware on your GALAXY Note 3 LTE with Odin and have a FAIL message on Odin and this log code " <ID:0/004> FAIL! (Ext4) " , so you should know that happen because of size . If you looked into your phone when it in download mode you will find Error message in red color says " Volume size is too big 102400 < 204800 " (You may find another numbers) .
To resolve this problem you have to download PIT file and choose it from PIT tab in Odin and start again .
Download CSB_signed_HLTE_EUR_OPEN_32G_0805.pit file for GALAXY Note 3 LTE
After downloading this PIT file do all the previous steps in Odin and choose PIT tab then click on PIT button and choose the CSB_signed_HLTE_EUR_OPEN_32G_0805.pit , after that click start and enjoy!!!
(19) If your device stuck in bootloop, follow the instructions in step number (17) .
(17) If your device stuck in bootloop, go into Recovery Mode by pressing and hold ( Volume Up + Home + Power ) buttons all at the same time and choose " Wipe Cache Partition" and then choose " Wipe data/factory reset " and select " Yes delete all user data " then choose " Reboot system now " .
(18) If you faced a problem and can't flash this firmware on your GALAXY Note 3 LTE with Odin and have a FAIL message on Odin and this log code " <ID:0/004> FAIL! (Ext4) " , so you should know that happen because of size . (19) If your device stuck in bootloop, follow the instructions in step number (17) .
